With Quarryman peeping out from behind the diesel shed and Blacovsley in the yard the special headed by Synolda heads out of Ravenglass

The River Mite on the coaling stage at Ravenglass being attended to by one of the staff from the Bure Valley Railway in Norfolk, (apparently they insist on doing no preparation unless the loco is outside!).

The Saturday of the Narrow Gauge gathering stayed mostly dry although the mountain-tops were obscured by clouds, however, the rain held off and the day was a success. The River Mite is seen at Dalegarth for Boot being attended to by one of the visitors to the Narrow Gauge Gathering whilst the regular driver skives off and takes photographs.
