The River Irt has a pre-season stretch of her legs at Ravenglass, she will be the rostered loco for the half term daily service with the River Mite on stand-by. The Doug will be the diesel loco.

The new signal-post for 29R lies on the ground where the old aerial used to stand. This signal will be a repeater for the inward bound signal, 29, at Ravenvilla and will display a green, 29 clear, or a yellow 29 at danger.

In addition to new sig 29R, a small green electical box located on the rail will send an audible alarm to the signal box as a train passes.

Signal 22, which was the middle large signal on the gantry at Ravenglass has now been replaced by a smaller calling-on signal. This is due to the fact that platform 2 is not useable by passenger trains as none of the carriges are accessible from that side.
